SUNDAY 25th June (12pm - 6pm, UK time)

As creative + multi-passionate women, it can be so hard just to sit down and do the thing.

We have a rucksack of good intentions and heaving notebooks full of project ideas, but life gets busy, the days feel short and before we know it, it’s been a WHILE.

1magine if you could:

  • Have a day where the only goal is to create space so you actually have room to do the things you want to do.

  • Actually have a space where you can create on the fly, not when you have that spare 12 hours. (I mean, who does?!)

  • Reduce the resistance to getting started because it finally feels easier, and more possible.

  • Do just that alongside a group of likeminded creative, and multi-passionate women who are also creating space for their own projects.

  • Have a whole day set aside where you show up for yourself, and make real progress

How does it work?

  • You join me as your coach and a group of likeminded women at the same time online on Zoom. At the beginning of the day, you set out our goals and share a bit about how we’re going to create our space and then work on it in dedicated time chunks throughout the day.

  • During those time chunks, you keep your camera on, put your mic on mute and get shit done! You share your goals at the start of the sessions, share your progress at the end, we have a quick break and a cup of tea and we do it all over again!

  • Throughout the day, there will be frequent breaks, and we'll break for lunch/dinner, but you're more than welcome to hang around and have a chatty lunch with the rest of the women!

  • And if you get stuck or lost, I’ll be around all day to help you get unstuck and help you move forward.

  • At the end of the day, we take some time to look at the next thing you need to do to move your writing forward, and we celebrate with cake! (Seriously.)

“At the end of the day, I felt like a well-accomplished woman ready to take on the world!

I loved the day of co-working with women around the world trying to get things done and break through barriers of self doubt and even isolation. It helps to remind us why we even want to do the things we have or want to do, to be part of a community dealing with the same questions and struggles.”

why get shit done days?

I was inspired to start Get Shit Done Days after seeing the sheer power of co-working and accountability within the One Woman Band Club - my group coaching program.

In that program, we do three co-working sessions a week and a lot of people said co-working was one of their favourite parts of the experience:

"The co-working sessions were great at teaching me how to set goals and accomplish them in a short time frame. The beauty of it being that everyone was sharing the same energy in working on their projects at the same time." - Nikki

"The co-working sessions got me to actually put my rump in the seat and get things done. They also provided a social benefit/value during this pandemic that cannot be fully described." - Regina

"I loved the co-working sessions with the other participants. I got so much done. It was so encouraging and inspiring to be able to see others working away to accomplish their goals at the same time. I always got up with an extra spring in my step on days we had co-working" - Katharine

As a coach, I’ve found group co-working accountability not only to be a really powerful way of taking action and moving forward but doing it in a way that feels good and fun too!

and so get shit done days were born!

what past get shit done attendees have said about them!

"I ended the day feeling like I was the most competent adult ever! I felt On Top Of It! It was such a relief to have the stuff that had been weighing on me for so long done and to not feel so much overwhelm when I thought about my to do list. If I was to describe it to a friend, I'd say I found something that made me book my car in for a service (a small five months after it needed it), and upload all the receipts that were overdue AND make all the calls I needed to do that I had been putting off for SO LONG!"

STAK MOODY

"Right after the event, I felt good. But then, even a couple of weeks later, I feel lighter for having all that stuff I'd been avoiding gone from my to-do list. It's like I'm no longer tethered to the past by these nagging chores."

KATHARINE ROBINSON

I'd describe the Get Shit Done Day as a day of co-working with women around the world trying to get things done and break through barriers of self doubt and even isolation. It helps to remind us why we even want to do the things we have or want to do, to be part of a community dealing with the same questions and struggles. I also got to meet two dogs and a 6 year old child, and I enjoyed that part.

At the end of the day, I felt like a well-accomplished woman ready to take on the world!"
