compassion

strategy
I know how precious your creativity, your ideas and your work are to you.
I feel the same. And I know it can feel pretty vulnerable and scary bringing someone else along on the journey.
I also know how big a decision hiring a coach can be - it can be so hard to justify spending money on yourself and you worry if it’ll work out.
And as a fellow rebel-rouser, I know you don’t need a generic one-size-fits-all solution. You need someone that not only honours your creative, rebellious and mission-driven nature, but appreciates it, nurtures it and celebrates it.
So if you’re curious to see if my approach would work for you, I’ve put this page together to give you an idea of how I work and what you could expect if we worked together.
(And if you want to know more about what coaching is, read this first)
what if you could be your own rebel rouser instead of your own personal dreamshitter?
our work together will be a creative collaboration
Some sessions we’ll have all the coloured pens out bringing visions to life, some sessions we’ll be knee-deep in a google doc working on strategy, and other sessions we’ll both bring cake to celebrate your wins, shoot the shit and work through the obstacles that come with building an out-of-the-box wholehearted life you love.
Whatever we’re working on, my approach is compassionate, bullshit-free and non-judgemental, and from the experience of someone who’s felt just as stuck in the mud.
All of my work is done in alignment with my values:
courage community joy curiosity integrity

What you can expect from a coaching session together:
You’ll leave every session with a clear plan of your next steps and a shitload of resources!
You might start our session with one thing in mind and leave heading in another direction entirely. My clients find that working together helps ignite parts of themselves they didn’t even know were there.
We’ll have a laugh along the way. Sometimes we’ll cry, but there will alway be laughter!
One size fits all solutions never work. Our work together will be tailored to you and your unique situation.
The logistics
Coaching sessions happens via Zoom and you will receive an mp3 recording of our call. You’ll receive a questionnaire prior to our first call to maximise our time together. It includes questions and prompts to start getting clarity before we begin so I’m up to speed when we start our session.
For packages where there are payment plans (eg. One Woman Band Club), payment plans are available and you won’t pay a penny more than if you’d paid in full.
my philosophy on building a life you love
I believe that you have all the answers inside you, it’s just about excavating them.
I believe life, work and creativity are always tangled together and we’ll touch on all three during our work together
I don’t believe in 5-step formulas or blueprints. I believe there are glorious multitudes in all of us, it’s never black and white and we have to intentionally make space for your nuance, find your own unique path and not force you into a neat box.
I believe compassion is the way we make big changes in our lives.
I believe in not only honouring your creative, rebellious and multi-passionate nature, but nurturing it and celebrating it.
“What I found very special was Meg's blend of enthusiasm, empathy, and practicality. She took the time to listen and completely understand where I was coming from (financially and health-wise) and helped build a bridge to where I wanted to go. The fact that she could share my excitement and keep sparking new ideas while staying totally grounded about how I could reach them was very refreshing.”
Katie Critelli
Data scientist, writer, anthropologist
“Meg has helped me to change the way I think about myself and what I'm capable of. She is always so positive and realistic about what can be achieved and she is a fountain of knowledge and always has some sort of valuable resource to hand. Meg is an outsider - in a good way! She has a great skill of looking at things from afar with a different perspective and has turned my whole way of thinking about myself on its head! She say it like it is and this is gold in itself: she helps move people forward by asking the right question and enforcing accountability but leads by kindness!”
Imogen Williams
Graphic designer, small business owner
“I was feeling lost and overwhelmed before working together. Essentially, I'd been going round in circles for months not realising that the answers were right in front of me. After working with Meg, I now have a new confidence in both my ideas and how I can build the life I want in a way that actually works for me. Now I feel like I CAN actually build the life I want. It feels real and achievable and I'm doing it. I loved the brainstorming and collaboration and having the opportunity to tap into Meg’s extensive knowledge and experience but it also felt very personal. Meg completely adapted to my agenda and recognised my needs throughout the sessions. I loved how we did big thinking and got down to the detail too. I hoped I'd get clarity on where I wanted to go but I didn't know I'd make so much progress in such a short space of time.”
Sarah Rayment
Coach
“Meg helped me look at my career and what i thought were "extra-curriculars" in a very different way. I feel so much more excited and positive about the future, and I have a plan.”
Olu Niyi-Awosusi
Web developer, social justice activist
“Meg is compassionate, perceptive, articulate, enthusiastic. She have a great way of reframing things to get around blocks. Meg made me feel safe and seen right from the beginning - and I needed that. I trusted her very early on. I’ll never forget it!”
