Your ideas and your creativity are precious.
It can feel pretty vulnerable and scary bringing someone else along on the journey. For many of my clients, I’m the first person they’ve shared their ideas fully with, and that’s an honour I don’t take lightly.
I also know how big a decision hiring a coach can be - it can be so hard to justify spending money on yourself and you worry if it’ll work out. I don’t take either of those things lightly, and I truly feel honoured to do the work I do.
While you can read about what my clients have said here, and what the fuck coaching actually is here, I always like to know more about what motivates and guides the person I’m working with, what to expect if we worked together, and to get a feel for whether we might be a good fit!
So, that’s exactly what this page is for!
Around here, I do things differently.
As a fellow creative and multi-passionate woman, I know you don’t need a generic one-size-fits-all solution. You need someone that not only honours your creative, rebellious and curious nature, but appreciates it, nurtures it and celebrates it.
I’m here to help you close the gap between where you are and where you want to be, without:
Feeling like a problem that needs to be fixed
Becoming an entirely new person
Sacrificing your values
Feeling like it’s yet another project you don’t have time for
Abandoning your weirdness and your whimsy (fuck that! Around here, we embrace it!)
Optimising every single part of your life or leaning into toxic positivity/productivity
Live, love, laughing/eat-pray, loving your way across the globe and blowing up your life.
my philosophy on building a life you love and the beliefs and principles that guide and shape my work:
I believe that you have all the answers inside you, it’s just about excavating them.
I believe life, work and creativity are always tangled up. There are glorious multitudes in all of us, it’s never black and white and we have to intentionally make space for your nuance, embrace your weird and wonderful and find your own unique path (no forcing yourself into a neat box around here).
I don’t believe in 5-step formulas, blueprints or get rich quick schemes.
I am firmly anti-guru and I don’t believe there is one ‘right’ way to do things. I don’t believe in no-pain-no-gain or sacrificing ourselves at the altar of burnout or hustle culture, or using shame and guilt as a way to impact change.
I believe that taking up space, tooting your own horn and un-learning the good girl shit so many of us were brought up to are practices we can learn and use to make our lives much bigger and brighter.
I see life as a massive experiment where we get to pivot, try new things, and the less we get hung up on conventional definitions of success and failure, the better.
And I believe in bringing the weird, wonderful and whimsical into the process, not as a bonus added extra. I also don’t think we have to be super serious and put together.
I do not believe we all have the same starting point as this ignores the challenges and realities of systemic oppression, capitalism and white supremacy. I believe black lives matter, trans lives are human lives, and the world would be a much kinder place if we were all a bit more Dolly.
I don’t believe in the capitalist need to always be bigger, better and endlessly optimised. You are not a problem to be fixed, and I will make sure we don’t get into perfectionism territory.
I meet you where you’re at, not where you think you should be. Our work is about actually enjoying putting the work in, and celebrating the wins as they happen. And I believe in imperfect action over perfect action, every time.
I believe in compassionate productivity and in taking imperfect action instead of perfection action. It is possible to do your best work while not treating yourself like shit, and having compassion towards yourself isn’t a fluffy nice-to-have; it’s seriously strategic.
I believe in honesty, but I don’t believe in using radical honesty as an excuse to be mean. Honesty should always be served with kindness.
I believe being multi-passionate is a help, not a hindrance and in embracing your contradictions and nuances and working with your brain rather than against it.

a bit more about me and my background
I’m Meg and I’m a life/creativity/biz coach and mentor for creative and multi-passionate women. I’m the host of The Daily Pep! Podcast (1,600 episodes and 6+ million downloads and counting), and I love notebooks, Dolly Parton and The Eurovision Song Contest.
I’m from South Wales, and am in the process of re-locating to Liverpool after spending the past three years experimenting with being location independent. I’ve supported myself and Mr Meg through my business for the past ten years and I’ve worked with hundreds of clients.
I’ve also worked as a freelance graphic designer (and still do the odd job on the side!), and I started my career working with non-profits and did a whole host of things, from designing projects and writing huge funding bids, organising community festivals and conferences, running support groups for domestic abuse survivors and facilitating healthy relationship workshops in schools.
My work exists in the intersections of creativity, productivity and feminism, and I am an absolute nerd when it comes to figuring out how we can get our projects done as creative and multi-passionate women who resist and rebel against structure!
My approach is born out of a very real need to find an alternative way to getting shit done without treating yourself like shit (I learned it the hard way!). I want brilliant creative women to live the life and projects that light them up instead of becoming their very own personal dreamshitters. I want the history books to be overflowing with the stories of women who chose themselves.
Our work together is creative collaboration, where we partner together to do epic shit as equals.
Whatever we’re working on, my approach is compassionate, bullshit-free and non-judgemental, and from the experience of someone who’s felt just as stuck in the mud and really gets it (but doesn’t preach from the mountain tops).
Many of the women I work with are neurodivergent, highly sensitive, disabled/have chronic illness(es), and very much feel the weight of being a woman in our society (ie. overburdened, have disproportionate care roles with a high level of empathy).
I meet you exactly where you’re at, and one of my superpowers is really making sure that plans/dreams/ideas are flexible, rebel proof and work with your actual self and right now, not your aspirational self.
Our sessions will be tailored to exactly where you are and where you want to go. Some sessions we’ll have all the coloured pens out bringing visions to life, some sessions we’ll be knee-deep in a google doc working on strategy, and other sessions we’ll review, recalibrate, celebrate your wins, shoot the shit and work through the obstacles that come with building an out-of-the-box wholehearted life you love.
And no matter what we’re working on, it’ll be guided by these four things:
what to expect during a session together:
We will laugh during our sessions (sometimes we’ll cry.) But we’ll always laugh!
You’ll leave every session with a clear plan of your next steps
You get all of me! I don’t hold anything back and I’m fully invested and excited about your journey. (My clients often tell me my approach is best friend/big sister energy and they value how I get genuinely excited with them)
I welcome feedback - if something isn’t working for you, we’ll find another way!
I’ll ask you lots of questions. We will go round the houses, but everything will come together and we’ll get to where we need to.
You might start the session with one thing in mind and leave with something else entirely. Reawaken parts of yourself you didn’t even know were there.
I will support you to the best of my ability, and if at any point I think you would be served better by someone else, or I feel like our work is complete, I will tell you.
Coaching sessions happens via Zoom and you will receive an mp3 recording of our call. You’ll receive a questionnaire prior to our first call to maximise our time together.
For packages where there are payment plans, payment plans are available and you won’t pay a penny more than if you’d paid in full.
here’s how we could work together:
Make Shit
Happen
A 4 month day 1:1 coaching programme to actually take your idea out of your head, nine notebooks and off your someday pile into the world.
Unstick Your
Shit
A 90-minute coaching session to get unstuck, find clarity & build momentum.
Keep Shit
Rolling
Dedicated and regular space to get unstuck, brainstorm and find ways to get shit done.
Curious about working together but not sure which package fits you, and you want to see if we’re a good fit?
There’s no pressure, expectations or obligations; think of it like a really good virtual cuppa where you share more about where you’re at, I’ll share if I think I can help, and we’ll see if we’re a good fit.
The kinds of things I tend to work with people on:
In a nutshell, I help creative and multi-passionate women close the gap between where they are and where they want to be. And that work usually takes place in three main areas:
the practical side of dream-chasing
breaking things down
finding focus and creating a flexible plan that actually works
identifying what you actually want to do
working out the logistics: time, energy, commitments etc
actually doing the thing(s)
figuring out what needs to happen to bring the dream to life
keeping the momentum going
how to keep your dreams in sight and work on them in a chaotic world.
the emotional side of dream-chasing
giving yourself permission to go for it
figuring out what your dreams are when they are excavated from layers of societal expectations, guilt, shame for sticking our neck above the parapet.
learning to deal with - and quiet - your inner dreamshitter so you can move forward
choosing yourself and the discomfort that can come with putting your own needs on the table
dealing with the grief of not having taken action sooner or not having previous given yourself permission
the community side of dream-chasing
being able to communicate who you are without squashing yourself into an “understandable” box
finding your people
figuring out who you can be your most authentic self around, and how to interact with people in your life who just don’t get you
unlearning the socialisation of playing small, putting everyone else first
people pleasing and saying no
social identity and your place in the world
also pretty much everything in the political world
people who have inspired my work and approach:
Barbara Sher, Austin Kleon, Tara Mohr, E. Napoletano, Campbell Walker (Struthless), Jennifer Lee, Dr Brené Brown, Julia Cameron, Jacqui Marson, Seth Godin, Michelle Rohr, Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estés, Liz Gilbert, Morgan Harper Nicholls, Emilie Wapnick, Imi Lo (eggshell therapy), Ash Ambirge, Chase Jarvis, Pat Flynn, Jonathan Fields, Andy J Pizza, Meera Kothand, Kelly Diels, bell hooks, Audre Lorde, Sean McCabe, Tiffany Han, Michael Hyatt, Gretchen Rubin, Srinivas Rao, SARK, Elle Luna, Todd Henry, Kelly Rae Roberts, Ricë Freeman-Zachery, Sue Monk Kidd, Matthew Johnstone, Tom Rath, Michelle Goodman, Jacqui Marson, Deb Glouberman, Chris Guillebeau, Susan O’Doherty, Mary Anne Radmacher.
The kinds of people I tend to work with are:
Creative quirky women who are kind, funny, love a good book, and any excuse for a new notebook! They tend to love nature, are sometimes a bit witchy and have creative pursuits coming out of the wazoo (or wish they did). They like being with a (small) group of people who just get them. They love a good rabbit hole, they're always following their curiosity and starting new projects and - in a non-wanky way - they want to become the best version of themselves.
They don't care about keeping up with the Joneses; they value experiences over things (notebooks, stickers and stationery in general not included), and are much more interested in showing up for what is important to them and building a life that works for them. They tend to be juggling a lot of things, be it caregiving, motherhood, chronic illness, disability, running a business, and many of them are neurodivergent, HSPs (highly sensitive people) and empaths.
They’re also action oriented and ready to take action - even if they’re not sure where to start. The things that most tend to stop them are self doubt, lack of confidence, lack of time or energy, feeling like they have to do things a certain way, perfectionism and struggling to put themselves first. (Around here we tend to be recovering good girls, people pleasers and perfectionists.)
They really value community and lifting up other women. They are trying to build the world they want to live in and bring their values to everything they do. They tend to have lefty politics and really value social justice, equality and feminism.
While it can be really scary bringing someone else into your journey, it is an absolute game changer.
I remember what it was like before working with my first coach. I knew I was too close to my own work to see the forest from the trees, but it felt scary bringing someone else in. I wondered if they’d truly get me and bringing someone else into the process was completely new to me.
I’ve worked with a number of coaches throughout my own journey and it has made SUCH a difference to have a dedicated space for me with someone who gets me. It has given me the clarity to see the bigger picture, my blindspots and the courage, clarity and confidence to do the things. It’s been absolutely invaluable to say the least.
Curious to see if we’re a good fit and the magic we could cook up together?
