A compassionate and bullshit-free workshop to help you wrap up this year, plan for the winter and feel pretty fucking proud of yourself.

Come together with a group of like-minded women, where together we’ll get honest and kind to ourselves about how the year has gone, looking at what you can harvest and what you want to take forward.

A group of women who like you are too damn hard on themselves and have ideas spread over around six notebooks, random post-it notes and a bunch of places they’ve forgotten about!

The Creative Harvest Workshop is your invite to lean into the season, take a pause, gather your crops (ideas), review your tools (notebooks) and make a plan for the rest of the year.

Using the metaphor of a harvest, we’ll explore how you can use the season to guide your creativity, choose your projects, and how you’re going to use your energy for the rest of the year.

Oh, and generally take the pressure off too and invite you to slow down too. (Sometimes slowing down can be a rebellious act in and of itself.)

This 2-hour workshop will give you a cosy space to:

  • Check-in with yourself and give yourself enough of a pause to figure out what would feel good to focus on right now

  • Reflect on the year so far and figure out a plan for the rest of the year (because, no matter what you see elsewhere, the year isn’t over yet and there’s plenty of fun and creative things to be done!)

  • Acknowledge all the things you have done this year and what kind of year it’s been for you (and reframe that narrative where you beat yourself up for having got nothing accomplished, which we all know is bullshit)

  • Let things go that are no longer serving you and give yourself a shit-tonne of compassion!

you’ll walk away with fabulous tools you can use time and time again, including:

  • A system for bringing your ideas to life and remembering your ideas that you can use time and time again

  • An action plan for prioritising what you want to focus on for the winter months.

 How does it work?

🙌 On Tuesday 15th October (6.30pm-8.30pm, UK time), we’ll gather on Zoom with big mugs of teas, and really gather our crops, review this year's harvest, make a plan for the winter and get motivated for the rest of the year

📝 I’ll lead you through a series of exercises and guide you through my annual Creative Harvest system

🛠 You’ll leave with tools for bringing your ideas to life (and remembering them in the first place) that you can use time and time again.

💖 You’re more than welcome to turn your camera on, or off, and you’ll be invited to share as you do the work with a group of like-minded women.

💃 You’ll leave feeling motivated, ready to take on the rest of 2024 and feeling a shitload lighter and more compassionate to yourself!

What people have said about previous years’ Creative Harvest Workshop!

I went into The Creative Harvest workshop feeling very anxious like I had a never-ending to do list and feeling really low about how much I hadn’t achieved this year. I came out of this workshop feeling confident, happy and energised; realising that I have in fact, achieved a hell of a lot this year and excited to start my projects. In just two hours Meg managed to completely shift my perspective from one of self-depreciation to self-compassion, which I am truly grateful for.

Meg created such a warm and comfortable environment, where I got to learn so much about myself as well as connecting with some amazing people. This workshop was full to the brim of encouragement, kindness and self-compassion. I never expected to get so much out of one workshop. Meg radiates positivity but in such an honest, humorous and considerate way. I will definitely be booking onto the next one.

I loved the Creative Harvest Workshop! It was really valuable to make some space for that reflection. The metaphor worked really well and is easy to really take on board- I've even been taking it further for myself e.g. 'what crops are you sharing, what crops are you storing'. It was so helpful to acknowledge some of the things you don't usually think so much about, such as tools. I also found it really encouraging to loosely note 'seeds' as it stopped me thinking in the negative framework of 'incomplete ideas' and into the positive.

The Creative Harvest workshop was so enjoyable, wholesome and useful. It was a great opportunity to reflect and spend some virtual time with interesting creatives. I loved the way it was structured around the seasons, I thought that was beautiful. Some of my 'ah-ha moments': thinking about how the weather conditions have been before you apply the 'what have I achieved' thought.

Sharing my experience and listening to other experiences and seeing everyone had found the year difficult to some degree (to be clear - I'm not happy about this but it helped the little imposter syndrome / mean competitive voice in my head) it helped me to be more compassionate when viewing my own achievements; that my tools include my support network and people around me. It was a wonderful workshop, you led it brilliantly, and it was amazing to share such lovely energy with people

I really enjoyed the workshop. I liked hearing other peoples experiences and ideas. I was a little nervous about how much interaction would be in the workshop but I felt really comfortable to share if I wanted to. I thought the whole harvest analogy was very useful to help me analyse my year so far. It really did help me to feel more positive about what I had actually achieved this year!
