the rebel rousers
and the fabulously unconventional women
the rebel rousers
and the fabulously unconventional women
You want to live the life only you can live, led by your values, your curiosities and the things that feed your soul.
You believe in writing your own life story instead of going along with the fill-in-the-blanks narrative expected of you.
You want to leave the world a brighter place than how you found it.
But you know that comes with finding/claiming your space in the word, taking up space and putting yourself out there.
(And that can feel pretty fucking terrifying)
We want it to be perfect (even though we know perfect doesn’t exist).
And we don’t want to fail (even though we know failure is part of the process).
If you were playing a game of dreamshitter bingo, your scorecard would look something like this.
Your ideas are missing
Your stories go untold
And the great things only you can do never happen.
There are so many empty spaces in the world, meant for brilliant, wonderful women with creative, unconventional and world-changing dreams.
Women the world doesn’t get to see because they bought into the (very convincing) lies of their inner dreamshitters and ignored the whisperings of their inner rebel rouser.
And there are SO many reasons why: as women we’re conditioned to fit into a delicate box, to be a good girl, to follow the status quo. We’re taught to keep ourselves small to keep ourselves safe; to keep our opinions and ideas to ourselves. We’re taught not to speak out, and to be seen and not heard.
What if you could be your own rebel rouser instead of your own personal dreamshitter?
What if you could show up as intentionally and unapologetically yourself?
What if you could own, live and share your story. and To leave a mark on the world in the only way you can, using your own unique set of skills, strengths and talents.
Because building a life you love, as a creative, multi-passionate and unconventional woman does takes a shitload of courage.
But it is possible, and you don’t have to do it alone.

I started The Rebel Rousers! because I see too many brilliant and fabulously creative women with huge dreams talk themselves out of doing the work they were meant to do and instead become their very own personal dreamshitters.
That story has been my story too, and it’s about time we reconfigure the plot! (You can read more about my story here!)
i’m working to create a world of colourful, rebellious, creative + fabulous women
who are owning their gifts, finding and following their unconventional callings and making the world a brighter place through the things they are uniquely equipped to do.
A generation of women are proud of who they are, who are here to lay their stake in the ground, who don’t feel they need to apologise for existing and a generation of women who own their stories, live their stories and share their stories.
I was seriously burnt out and I knew there had to be a different way of doing things. Started exploring the self help world and soon got sick of the bullshit. I learned the hard way that sometimes you have to create the very thing you crave. The Rebel Rousers was born, primarily as a blog.
The Couragemakers Podcast because I craving honest and real stories of dream-chasing with everyday people like me and fed up of only seeing the fairytale rags to riches stories.
2020: Started The Daily Pep!, a daily, short and sassy podcast because I realised just how much courage, energy and grit it takes to keep going as unconventional and value-driven women.
You can leave your mark.
You can do things that no one has ever dreamed of. You can leave a legacy, and you can really change things.
You have a combination of skills, strengths, experiences, passions, perspectives and stories that no one else has and you can use them as a force for good both for yourself and others to create a fulfilling, meaningful life.
The world is desperate for your story.
We all need your story. We need to know the things that make you feel like you’re on fire and the monsters that hide under your bed. Through other peoples stories, we start to make sense of ourselves.
And there is always more space for more stories.
Because no stories are ever the same.
My hope is that you will feel less alone, feel freer to be unapologetically and authentically you and feel better about taking up space in the world. I hope you feel like you belong, like you’re not the odd one out and that there is a place in the world reserved only for you.
Let’s own our stories, let’s live our stories and let’s share our stories like the world depends on it.
Because, rebel rouser,
