Operation: Get it off the fucking hard drive

I don't know about you, but I'm often haunted by the Ghosts of Projects Past. I want to spend much more time in the creating stage than I do thinking about creating, but the planning and dreaming stage often feels so much safer.

See, unrealised projects lives in our heads in fabulous condition. We haven't had to risk finding out if we can even pull them off. They aren't tainted or scuffed with real world constraints, and let's face it, they're also quite good for the ego.

I know for me, I tend to come at it from a place of scarcity: while I've still got my good ideas un-used, I can't run out, right?

Though, Maya Angelou completely disagrees, and I'm trying to take a leaf of out of her book:

"You can't use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have."

Maya Angelous

For the past couple of years, I've been trying to inject my work with more fun, and I've come up with so many ideas.

But I always tend to talk myself out of them, be it from a place of not wanting to ruin them by bringing them to life (hi, inner dreamshitter!) or due to lack of energy or capacity.

And now when I go over past notebooks, rather than see them as the treasure trove they are, I just feel sad, and then I get really frustrated with myself.

So, I've decided to interrupt my own pity party add some of the joy back in with a new experiment!

Because I have so many barely started and nearly finished projects spread out over approximately 264 notebooks, dropbox folders, google drive folders, etc, and it's time they saw the light of day.

By now you probably know I love a good container, some firm constraints and a fun challenge, so I came up with:

🤩 10 products/projects in 10 weeks

🗓️ Released every Friday

🎉 50% off for the first 24 hours (make sure you’re in my email community to get first dibs!)

I'm genuinely curious to see what I'll be creating, I'm looking forward to spending more time in the creating zone and also to make peace with my many, many notebooks.

I’m going to come back here and update the projects as they get released, so check back here and see what I get up to!
