let’s turn perfect inaction into imperfect action and intentionally use your perfectionism (rather than it using you!)

Perfectionism is so exhausting:

  • Spending more time prepping, planning, and worrying than actually creating.

  • You abandon projects halfway when they don’t match the picture in your head, only to pick them up later and realise they were pretty fucking good after all! (FFS!)

  • Everyday decisions feel like monumental life choices, and the fear of a “wrong” step keeps you standing still. You know the fate of the universe rests on which sandwich you pick for lunch, but that doesn’t shut that voice up!

Perfectionism robs us of so much of our precious time and energy. But here’s the thing: perfectionism isn’t all bad - there’s a way to reclaim it for your own benefit. Perfectionism tricks us into thinking there’s only one “right” way… but adventure comes from exploring all the ways.

it’s time to use your perfectionism for your delight and dreams rather than your downfall!

wait - what’s a solo adventure and how does it work?!

A Solo Adventure is an introvert-friendly, digital dive into a specific area of personal development. You can do it at your own pace, in your own place, at a coffee shop, on a walk, or on an artist’s date. They're intentionally designed to help you show up and do the work, nourish yourself and stay committed to yourself and your creativity.

I've intentionally made it simple and accessible, as fuck knows how many lengthy courses I've bought that sit on my hard drive! I’ve designed it to be really helpful, practical, easy to dive into and to feel like an absolute treat to do!

Here are some ideas on how you might approach your solo adventure!

Take the journal with you to a coffee shop and listen to the audio on the way to get you thinking!

Block out an afternoon and turn it into an artist’s date! Get a favourite beverage, a slice of cake and make it a real treat!

Pick a weekday evening and do it over a couple of weeks to guide you into some much-needed you time!

Put a date in the diary, and tell everyone you’re busy with an appointment!
(Because you are!)

Bookmark the link and take it with you on holiday or a long train journey!

Gather with some friends and have your own DIY retreat!

Sometimes perfectionism shouts, but sometimes it whispers: “if it’s not the best, why bother?”

But there are SO many reasons to bother.

Nobody ever got better at anything by only imagining it—they started and stumbled, and that’s part of the process, NOT a personal failure!

The sparkly ideas living irent-free in your head deserve to be brought into the messy, beautiful real world. Your “imperfect” attempt might be exactly what inspires or helps someone else.

And they might just be the things that bring YOU satisfaction, joy and fulfilment beyond what you can imagine right now!

I’m Meg, and I’m a life/creativity/biz coach, podcaster, writer and all-round rebel rouser for creative and multi-passionate women!

For years, I thought being a perfectionist was something I had to “fix” about myself; that it was a burden that would always be there. Society, after all, loves to tell us that perfectionism is a flaw—especially if you’ve been socialised to keep everyone else comfortable while shrinking yourself.

I created this adventure out of hard-earned experience and a rebellious desire to flip the script on what we’ve been taught about perfectionism. For anyone who’s tired of perfectionism being a bully, and ready for it to become a collaborator instead. I wanted to create a space where we drop the judgement, get curious, and reframe perfectionism as the superpower it truly can be. A space to swap harsh self-criticism for creativity, courage, and joyful exploration.

If you’re ready to reclaim your perfectionism, have some fun with it, and start creating imperfectly on your own (beautifully messy) terms, then this adventure is for you!
