What past One Woman Band-ers have to say about the experience!
One Woman Band has been a bit of a life saver over the past few months. Being self-employed can be lonely so the combination of community, accountability, coaching and brainstorming sessions makes everything seem lighter, more achievable and fun!
Meg has created a nurturing and safe space where we can all bring our shit and feel inspired and empowered to do the meaningful work that makes a difference. The other women in the programme have become friends and supporters - this really is a unique and special group. Thank you, Meg. You are wondrous!

I am sitting here with a sense of pride of my accomplishments and a deep feeling of satisfaction. Before One Woman Band I was determined but bamboozled. I couldn't decide what was a priority or what to do first.
Being able to have Meg's calm external view beamed back to me was so helpful. I also loved the co-working sessions with the other participants. I got so much done. It was so encouraging and inspiring to be able to see others working away to accomplish their goals at the same time. I always got up with an extra spring in my step on days we had co-working because I knew I would achieve something and also get an update from my fellow One Women Band folks.
It was better than I expected. I expected it to be a lot of people with product businesses. I really enjoyed that we all did different things. I feel excited for another 100 days and what I might be able to achieve.
If you're wondering if it might be for you, it probably is. I got so much out of it, I'm wondering when would be too soon to sign up again!! Do it!!

Before One Woman Band I was feeling busy and I decided to give it a go because I really wanted the support of a group and I wanted to meet more women doing similar things. Now I feel I have a much better sense of who I am and what I'm doing now.
The inspiration from the other women in the group which has made me feel like more is possible The group coaching calls were a really lovely safe space to get and feel supported and talk about the kinds of issues you usually have to pick apart on your own. I found the discussion about social media really useful.
To anyone thinking of joining, I’d say it's a brilliant way to hone your day to day work-life and feel supported, and to be in a community that will help you reflect on your own work.

Aren't we so fortunate to lend a hand, an ear, a shoulder to one another. Each of you remain with me. Witnessing ups and downs is just the best.
Though I've found support and encouragement elsewhere over the years One Woman Band founded on the belief that when you take yourself seriously and believe you matter everything changes is unique.
Meg's belief about the human spirit about personal value about creativity is a rebel rousing One Woman Band mandate for change. It's never too fucking late to show up for yourself, if you're thinking of joining One Woman Band - do it, you won't be sorry.
Lynne Kingsbury - Drummer, photographer, artist
Before One Woman Band Club, I was a little stuck, a little slow, a little alone. I can’t even explain how I feel about the progress I made over the 100 days: I feel like I actually got somewhere! I’m feeling connected, supported, and happy!
Julie Jones - artist, maker
The group calls were so powerful. Like I never expected that but the energy on the calls and the wisdom and vulnerability of the group just lit me up. I literally sat there nodding for 2 hours on each call just thinking, ah these are my people!!
I loved that the women were across the globe too - all ages and all professions - but we all got each other.
If you’re thinking of joining One Woman Band - go for it! You will meet some amazing women, get to have Meg as your personal cheerleader, you will feel fully seen and heard and you will learn so much about yourself.
Jenna folarin - Lifecoach for Mums
I am delighted by what I've achieved over the last 100 days and looking forward to levelling up in the next 100. The progress I've made is fucking incredible. I'm genuinely amazed. Having a community to turn to any time I wanted a boost was so helpful.
If you're thinking of joining, go for it. It's a tonic.

It’s like having a best friend and businesswoman alongside you, keeping you on track with something that is outside your comfort zone. Your fellow band members are part of the motivation station and keep your spirits high with plenty of opportunities to connect on a deeper level during fortnightly group calls

The co-working really helped when I was feeling very alone in the flat with a whole day of work stretching ahead of me. It was a really special feeling to know people actually had the same feeling and emotions as myself.
Kate Bullivant - audio producer
I was hesitant on making the investment since it was for me and nobody else in my family, but I gave One Woman Band a go because I liked the thought of being in a group with like-minded female creatives and having the accountability.
Now after the 100 days I can say that I really gained a lot of encouragement from everyone and made massive strides in my mindset. Seeing other creatives struggle to prioritize their passion projects helped me to realize I'm not alone, lazy, or generally dropping the ball.
Joining the One Woman Band will give you the motivation that you need to first, discover the creative projects that should get your prioritization and then, surround you with likeminded creatives to cheer you on. Come as you are and let your guard down because you'll discover more about yourself and more of who you were intended to be through your art

I joined One Woman Band Club because I knew I needed to get my self-confidence up. I also wanted to invest in myself because I had been investing everything in others for so long.
For anyone thinking about joining, I'd say, this is your chance to invest in yourself and your dreams. This is your chance to make new and supportive friends around the world. This is your chance to get your beautiful ideas and work out into the world and help nurture others great work also.
The world needs what you have to give. This will help make it happen.

I felt very unmotivated and without much direction, like something needed to change. Now, after joining One Woman Band, I feel very proud of the progress I’ve made, and feel so much more grounded and ready to take on the days. I also realised that somethings something has to give and that's ok, and that thing doesn't always have to be the same.
I was worried it was mainly focused on creative work, but there was a lot more diversity in the people than I was expecting and I loved that.
My favourite part was the group calls, it built the relationships between people, both the other women’s support, and Meg’s, was so helpful. Whatever your goals are they will feel so much easier and manageable with the amazing group of women surrounding you!
Maggie Trigo - PHD student
One Woman Band has been a transformative and revelatory experience. Meg has created a supportive and compassionate space where her warmth and humour shine through every activity. The range of these activities is excellent and the group calls provide opportunities to share life experiences and reflections with like-minded women.
If you like the idea of spending 100 days with kick-ass, inspirational women, then One Woman Band is for you!

My experience with One Woman Band was beyond my expectations. I’d been searching for a group programme for a while to help keep me accountable for my creative and business goals; more importantly, I wanted the journey to be fun! It was so good I’ve now completed three rounds!
I loved that before we got started, Meg had me complete questions to get to know me & what I wanted for my business and creative life. I would never be here, revelling in a daily creative practice and honouring my business dreams, if it wasn’t for Meg and the support of the other inspiring OWB ladies.
Lissa Foley-hughes - coach, artist
I had a pile of shit the size of Everest on my plate to deal with. I can now see that I wasn’t being lazy. I am largely responsible for pulling rabbits out of hats for all those around me so there isn’t a lot of time for me. I need to find a way to do that. One Woman Band has proved to me that I can do it. It also showed me that I am doing the best I can.
I loved all of it, I didn’t really know what to expect but it definitely exceeded my expectations. I really started to feel accepted for who I am. I went into it feeling that it might be like work, women who like to climb all over other women to get ahead. It was nothing like that. So many brave and beautiful people - it really restored my faith in sisterhood. It will be one of the best investments you will make in yourself.
I read the testimonials and wondered, is this really for me? Is it really that good? And the answer is yes, and yes.

During One Woman Band I created and launched my own website, set up all the (endless) behind the scenes processes and workflows. While doing that I also designed the website for my first client and made about five thousand changes to my own website. It was easy to feel like I wasn't making the progress I wanted but every time I said that, Meg would recite back everything I had done and remind me that it actually was a lot!
I don't know how I would have got everything done without OWB, the co working sessions were a lifesaver. It made it so much easier to get the shit I didn't want to do finished instead of putting it off forever. I honestly feel like the reason I got my website/business up and running this year rather than "sometime next year I hope" was because of OWB. It makes a huge difference having people invested and interested in what you're doing, cheering you on. Now it’s over I feel so sad it's ending! I don't want to stop.

Over the past 100 days I’ve been overwhelmed with the acceptance, encouragement, and support I’ve received from Meg and the other members. Meg’s expertly facilitated sessions and coaching has enabled me to learn new ideas, prioritise time for my well-being, be inspired by the experiences and projects shared by other members, and achieve so much more than I ever imagined possible. I feel stronger to face what I need to do and know that I have wonderful women cheering me on. I learnt so much from these amazing women. The openness and willingness to share was just awesome.
The blend of calls, coworking and one to one is perfect - just amazing. I feel inspired and definitely on a journey of discovery.
Sandra Taylor - management exec
At the beginning of One Woman Band I was muddled and confused, wanting so much to do something meaningful with my creativity but not knowing where to start. Now I feel like I have direction . I feel so nurtured and like there are people who get what I'm about, and what I'm trying to do in the world, and that people will want to be a part of it--and I'm starting to have the confidence to put it out there. My whole mindset has shifted.
I was expecting everyone to be artists, but I loved how diverse everyones goals and interests were. There were so many areas to connect. It was really a lovely group of people! Each part was so helpful: I think the group coaching helped me to make some pretty significant realizations.
The co-working sessions were great at teaching me how to set goals and accomplish them in a short time frame. And I loved the community. I wasn't expecting the epic amount of time and energy and love Meg put into it! She really invested so much in all of us and I felt really lucky and grateful to be a part of it!

One Woman Band is absolutely perfect for creative ladies who are feeling a bit lost and lonely out there, floating amongst the choppy sea of creative business mayhem, trying to find an island to plant they feet firmly upon and build upwards!
As soon as I discovered Meg held a One Woman Band course last year, through listening to her daily inspiring, supportive Daily Pep! podcast, I signed up right away!
I was super grateful and happy to be part of an amazing, supportive group of like minded, creative folk with Meg at the helm gently steering and helping to inspire, support, bring clarity, ground, hold accountable and accompany us on our individual journeys.
I highly recommend this programme, I have made great headway because of it, I even ended up changing course completely with my art for the better, made some lovely friends and have grown so much in confidence too! Take the plunge, you won’t regret it!

I've never felt part of something that suits me so well, that I have actively wanted to stay a part of throughout, rather than drifting away, losing interest or motivation.
You've really created something special Meg, thank you!!
