“During One Woman Band I created and launched my own website, set up all the (endless) behind the scenes processes and workflows, including the client questionnaires and workbooks and generally just worked at getting really clear around what it is I want to do, how and why. While doing that I also designed the website for my first client and made about five thousand changes to my own website. It was easy to feel like I wasn't making the progress I wanted but every time I said that, Meg would recite back everything I had done and remind me that it actually was a lot! I don't know how I would have got everything done without owb, the co working sessions were a lifesaver. It made it so much easier to get the shit I didn't want to do (copywriting for myself is the worst) finished instead of putting it off forever.”

"One Woman Band Club was so much more than I expected. I hoped to get accountability and motivation but I also ended up feeling so connected to everyone and becoming so invested in everyone's journey and progress. Having a group of women to share stuff with made every step easier and stopped that "ugh, no one cares about what I'm doing anyway, I shouldn't bother" feeling. It makes a huge difference having people invested and interested in what you're doing, cheering you on.
I honestly feel like the reason I got my website/business up and running this year rather than "sometime next yearn I hope" was because of owb. My life is always to busy and it's so easy to put non emergency things on the someday pile, but having this dedicated space and time helped me keep everything I wanted to do in the front of my mind and stopped it getting pushed away either.

“At the start I was feeling a little stuck, a little slow, a little alone. I can’t even explain how I feel about the progress I made: I feel like I actually got somewhere! Meg has a way of pulling the best out of everyone, asking just the right prompts, and putting the confidence in us to move forward!”

At the beginning of One Woman Band I was muddled and confused, wanting so much to do something meaningful with my creativity but not knowing where to start. Now I feel like I have direction . I feel so nurtured and like there are people who get what I'm about, and what I'm trying to do in the world, and that people will want to be a part of it--and I'm starting to have the confidence to put it out there. My whole mindset has shifted. I was expecting everyone to be artists, but I loved how diverse everyones goals and interests were. There were so many areas to connect. It was really a lovely group of people! Each part was so helpful: I think both the group coaching and the Voxer hours helped me to make some pretty significant realizations. The co-working sessions were great at teaching me how to set goals and accomplish them in a short time frame. And I loved the community. I wasn't expecting the epic amount of time and energy and love Meg put into it! She really invested so much in all of us and I felt really lucky and grateful to be a part of it!”

Before One Woman Band, I was overwhelmed and scared to be quite honest. I decided to give it a go becauseI knew I needed to get my self-confidence up. I also wanted to invest in myself because I had been investing everything in others for so long. One Woman Band was above and beyond my expectations by Day 10. Meg is the real deal- down-to-earth, calling out the dream shitting, giving tools for both practical steps and grace, providing so much support. I got a lot done that would have been left at the wayside otherwise. And it made me realize the importance of finding ways to prioritize time for myself and creative thinking and doing. To anyone thinking of joining: this is your chance to make new and supportive friends around the world. This is your chance to get your beautiful ideas and work out into the world and help nurture others great work also. The world needs what you have to give. This will help make it happen.”

“Joining One Woman Band will give you the motivation that you need to first, discover the creative projects that should get your prioritization and then, surround you with likeminded creatives to cheer you on. Come as you are and let your guard down because you'll discover more about yourself and more of who you were intended to be through your art. I really gained a lot of encouragement from everyone and made massive strides in my mindset. Seeing other creatives struggle to prioritize their passion projects helped me to realize I'm not alone, lazy, or generally dropping the ball.”

Before One Woman Band, I was determined but bamboozled. I couldn't decide what was a priority or what to do first. At the end of the 100 days, I’m sitting here with a sense of pride of my accomplishments and a deep feeling of satisfaction. I really enjoyed that everyone in the group all did different things. It might sound strange, but when everyone is doing something different, it's easier for me to feel like I fit in! It was so encouraging and inspiring to be able to see others working away to accomplish their goals at the same time. I always got up with an extra spring in my step on days we had co-working because I knew I would achieve something and also get an update from my fellow One Women Band folks.
