Episode transcript:

Good morning, daily Peppers, and a very happy Friday to you. Now, around here we tend to be bookworms. We love learning, we tend to buy a lot of courses or we have a lot on our watch later pile. And I know for me, just by buying the book, I feel like I've taken concrete action towards something and it's not always the case. This episode is a hundred percent sponsored by all of the books on my bookcase that I haven't read that I know will make a big difference. And I'm pretty sure I'm not alone in this. So to wrap up this week on the Daily Prep, I really encourage you to find the one thing that you think that might make the biggest difference. So whether it is a book or a course or a video you've got saved for later or a podcast episode and literally scheduling time to go do the thing, it is so easy for time to get away from us and it is so easy to look towards the next thing thinking that will be the thing that fixes everything.

But A we know that isn't true and B you've got a load of helpful already. So your homework, if you like, for this weekend is to schedule some time in whether it's this weekend or not, it doesn't matter to make a start, it doesn't matter how much you do, but see if you can find some time to dedicate to it and know that in doing that you're honoring your own needs and doing something for future you, which is pretty damn good. And if you've got a load of stuff you want to do and you're not sure where to start, maybe make a short list. And rather than initially trying to pick one thing, try and figure out what the pattern is or what the theme is. Because upon putting all the books together or whatever it is, upon compiling them, a theme might just emerge and give you a clearer indication of what you really need right now and what would be really helpful for you. So go for a time in your calendar. I am doing this right alongside you. Let's take away any shame or judgment from the fact that you haven't done it or you haven't read it already and embrace the fact that we are multi, passionate, curious people, we are always learning, and sometimes we just need a helpful nudge to go dive into the things that we've already got.

So happy exploring. I hope you find many fabulous rabbit holes and I can't wait to be back with you on Monday morning in your ears for another week of the Daily Pep or in your inbox on Sunday for my Letters of Rebellion, and you can find out more about them by going to therebelrousers.com/letters either way, I shall see you soon and have a fabulous weekend.
