Episode transcript:

Good morning, Daily Peppers, and a very happy Wednesday to you. So it is an exciting week for me this week as we are moving back to our beloved Liverpool and we are starting a new chapter where we explore not being location independent but still having lots of adventures And I am so excited. And also, we are very much in the final stages of getting everything ready to go, and that's what I want to talk about with you today. Because every single move we do, no matter how big or small, whether we've been somewhere months or years, we always remember one thing: that it doesn't seem to matter just how organized you are, you will always end up with a box of random crap And you likely have more than you think you do, or something will go awry. And after moving many, many, many times, unpacking everything we own in our car, I can say that I think that's just the way it is. And I think that is just a helpful reminder and metaphor in general for life, that there will always be random crap, not necessarily bad crap, just things that you don't know what to do with. And there are usually wobbles, and I'm sharing this today because I know for many of us, we have a really fucking harsh inner dream shitter who berates us if we don't achieve the step above perfection, and that just simply doesn't exist. And I think if we can look at what is realistic and see the bar that success is actually set at, and we realize that actually Having everything be right is probably just statistically impossible, then I think it takes the pressure off a little bit and we can have a bit more grace for ourselves.

So I'm embarking on my new chapter. Whatever chapter you're entering or in the middle of, remember that there will always be a box of crap. And it doesn't have to be a huge box of crap. Sometimes a box of crap is really, really small. And you might forget something, something might go awry or wobbly, and that's not only okay, it's to be expected, and you can deal with it. So I'm gonna go back to packing the car. I hope you have a fabulous Wednesday. Happy Hump Day, and I'll see you tomorrow.
