Episode transcript:

Good morning, Daily Peppers, and a very happy Monday to you. Two quick things before we begin. One, I am very glad to be back after having a stinker of a cold and a sore throat last week. So that's why last week were all reprise episodes. And number two, I'm currently launching something I am ridiculously excited about. Around here, so many of us have wanted to and tried to do the artist's way by Julia Cameron, but never quite succeeded. So I decided we're gonna do it together, and we're gonna do it rebel style. We get started next Thursday.

We have a fabulous group so far, and I've also got an early bird offer on. So if you sign up by this Thursday, you can take off £10 from each monthly payment by entering the promo code, which is all caps, Sassy 10. You can find out more by going to the rebelrousers.com/rebelartistsway and the link for that and also the promo code is in the show notes. Now on to today's show. So behind the scenes, I've been trying to get my ducks and fucks in a row a bit more. I knew that when we press pause on the traveling thing, one of the things I really wanted to do was get things more sustainable and build firmer foundations. So me and mister Merrick sat down last week and collated all the various tasks and things that we need to do when it comes to the business, my website, the podcasts, my programs, my products into one place. Now while it was satisfying to get them out of all these different notebooks and emails and Google Docs, I'm not gonna lie.

It was quite overwhelming. And I could feel myself getting really caught up in how on earth we were gonna start. I wanted to find the most logical place. I wanted to put everything into order. And, essentially, I wanted to find the, quote, right way to do it. But what I ended up doing was turning that into a project, and I got even more overwhelmed than when I started. So we're taking a different tack, and it's something I'm really excited to share with you because I wanna invite you to do it along with us. So I decided fuck finding the right place to start and start with the easiest bits.

So this week over here, we are having quick wins week. We are starting anywhere in any order, and we've gone through the list and figured out which are gonna be the things that we can just knock off the list and would just feel really good to get done. One of the things I tell my coaching clients all the time that I often forget myself is that action begets action, and starting anywhere is what brings some momentum. Doing quick wins also helps you move through the resistance, and it also gives you a bit of a confidence boost and satisfaction, which I know we're all craving more of. So if you've got a load of fuckers that you need to get done join me this week on our quick wins week. We're not going to judge ourselves for how long they've been sat there. We're going to give ourselves grace if they go from little fuckers to big fuckers And we're just gonna see how many gold stars we can give ourselves because rarely in life is there truly a perfect way to start. And we can spend and we can waste a hell of a lot of time coming up with this ideal system that doesn't even necessarily work when rubber hits the road.

So here's to quick wins week. Here's to figuring it out along the way. And here's to also giving ourselves the gold stars. I've got this. You've got this. We've got this. So let's get going.
