1304: Let’s find ourselves some joy!
We’re wrapping up this week on The Daily Pep! with a mini Friday challenge that I think we could all do with!

Good morning, Daily Peppers, and a very happy Friday to you.
It is the end of the week, and I am determined to make this more of a fry, yay, than a fry day. No matter how much I cringe at myself doing that. So today's episode is short and simple because I don't want us to overthink it. What is one thing you can do today just to have a bit of fun or to add some lightness or joy to your day? I don't know about you, but I tend to be quite cerebral, And I can really get stuck in my brain, and I can make everything really serious, and I can make things a lot bigger than they need to be. And I often need a reminder just to add some fun even though sometimes I can find it a bit tricky to think about what that thing could be in the first place. So if, like me, you could do some pointers, maybe it's about joyfully saying fuck off to something on your to do list that has been there for far too long and using that time to do something that maybe you would feel is too indulgent or you were put off doing, but that is something for you. Maybe it's about leaving for something five minutes earlier, so you can quite literally stop and smile the roses. Or you can take notice of things that maybe you don't usually have time for.
Maybe it's as simple as putting on your favorite song on repeat and just really enjoying it. Maybe it's about adding some color and doodling your to do list for the day and changing it up a bit. And maybe it is really leaning into that Friday feeling regardless of whether you think you've done enough this week and getting excited for the weekend. Remember, it doesn't have to be big. It can take five minutes or less, and it can still have a huge impact on your day. And it doesn't have to cost you money. So that's quite a fun container. Play with it.
I know you have a big creative brain. See what comes up for you. Try not to overthink it, and let's end this week with a bit of lightness. Have a lovely end to your week.
