Today we’re diving into all things courage, dream-chasing and the signs along the way.

Episode transcript:

Good morning, Daily Peppers, and a very happy Thursday to you. So today I want to talk to you about creativity, dream chasing, and how we interpret signs. And that is inspired by the fact that today I bumped into my microphone, it fell on the floor, the stand snapped off, and it broke. Now, as you know, I've been doing the Daily Pack for a while. I've had this microphone for quite a while, and it has been all around Europe with me, unpacked and packed many, many times. So the fact that it broke, I'm just quite grateful that it took this long and it was just a stand that broke.. But I know that if I was at the beginning of this journey, it would be so easy to interpret it as, well, I guess that means that I shouldn't do the podcast, or maybe that's a sign. And it is so easy to buy into that.

And if we're being really honest, sometimes there's a bit of relief that comes with that, especially if the thing that we want to do is really scary. Sometimes it can be nice to have what we perceive as a bit of an out.. But as you might know if you've been around here a little while, I am not into interpreting signs in that way. I am not into manifesting, and some things break just because they break. You might be about to send a really, really important email and your phone dies, and that could literally just be because you didn't charge your phone. Our brains like to make sense of everything. Our brains like to find reason and logic And sometimes we completely bypass the literal logic and read more into it, and our dream-shitter gets its way. So here's to a broken microphone stand just being a broken microphone stand.

Here's to your phone dying during that important email because you didn't charge it. And here's to doing the scary things anyway. I know when I look into the future, And when it comes to chasing my dreams, the scary thing isn't falling flat on my face. The scariest thing is not having tried in the first place. So keep chasing after your dreams, expect breakages on the way, and try and avoid your dream-shitter's booby traps. I'll see you tomorrow.
