1563: Your challenge for today...

This Thursday, I have a teeny tiny challenge for you. I've made it ridiculously simple, and it might just add some creativity and curiosity to your day!

Good morning, Daily Peppers, and a very happy Thursday to you. So for today's episode, I have a challenge for you, and I want you to try something new today. Now, you may have a day where you are up to your eyeballs, and I am not trying to add stress to your plate, but I bet there is somewhere that you can add something absolutely minuscule that you've never been before. It could be trying a new route somewhere or going down a street you've never been before. It could be reading a short poem on your lunch break. It could be listening to a track of an artist that you've never ever heard before in your life. And one of the ways I love doing that is by picking a country and having a look at their top 100 songs and just picking one of them. Trying new things is a great way of reminding our brains that we can do new things.

They're not always scary. It's also a great way of getting yourself out of a rut or your routines. And it's also a fabulous way of giving your curiosity and your creativity a jump start. Sometimes it can feel like life can get really small, or we're scrolling and we feel like everything's the same, and we forget that there is this huge, wide world out there full of fascinating things that we have never come across. And sometimes it's things that we might never come across unless we intentionally go looking. I know for me, I tend to play the same two songs on repeat for months. And just jolting yourself out of something that you usually do can be a great way of finding, creating and remembering dreams and things you want to do. And it can also help make us feel a bit more alive, which I think a lot of us are looking for.

So your mission today, if you choose to accept, and I really hope you do, is to try something or do something new. Make it embarrassingly small, and you might just find that it might be your unexpected joy of the day. Have a good one. And remember that everything changes when you believe you matter.
