Good morning, Daily Peppers, and a very happy Thursday to you. I am popping into your lovely ears this morning with something that I have realized over the years, and it is that sometimes you just have to do the thing. And thinking about the thing isn't going to give you the information or the data that you need, and you just need to start. I know I have wasted a fuckload of energy trying to work things out in my head, when really the best thing would have been to start anywhere and just give it a go. Obviously, this doesn't apply for everything in life, but there are certainly times when it is better to just go and metaphorically make the cake, even if it is a bit shitty, than it is to sit there and think about all the ingredients and what they might taste like. It might be fun to ponder, but it's also not going to get you that far. Sometimes we can spend so much energy on how we're going to start the thing, how we're going to get going, how we're going to do it in the right way, and the reality is that just doing something is gonna get you so much further. And this episode is absolutely proof of this.
I sat here before my microphone for a little while with a completely blank mind, but I knew that once I press record said hello, something would happen, because it always does. And the more we take action when we are not completely certain, the more we build our confidence and the belief in just taking any action. Sometimes you can have the best plan in your head and it is genuinely a really good plan. And then you've spent so long thinking about doing it, and then you actually start to do it and you realize you don't even like it. And I really want to save us some precious time and energy, which are finite things that we have, and get you out there experimenting, finding information and finding the clues. So get out of your head and into action, please. Don't wait for the perfect action because there really isn't one, and go collect some information. I'll see you tomorrow.
