Episode transcript:

Good morning, Daily Peppers, and a very happy Friday to you. To wrap up this week on the daily pep, I want you to think about one thing that you've learned about yourself this week. So often, we do our reviews in kind of yearly containers and save up to the end of the year, but I think weekly containers can be so helpful. I know I'm not the only one in thinking that months fly by like nobody's business. And I think something that we can do for ourselves that is incredibly helpful is to do a bit of a review and give ourselves a bit of a boost on a Friday. So for today's episode, I just want you to think about what you've learned about yourself this week. It does not need to be something profound. It does not need to be a huge epiphany.

But is there anything that you found this week really works for you? Anything that you found is a nonnegotiable in your own life? And are there any tiny things that you've done that you'd actually like to keep going with because they made a positive impact on your life? So that is part one, and part two is really simple. For part two, I just want you to email that to yourself or text it to yourself ready for next week. Put it somewhere that you'll see it as a bit of a reminder because we know how we work better than anybody else, but sometimes we need to do a bit of investigating to find it, which is exactly why questions like this can be really helpful. And they can be even more helpful when put into practice. So if emailing yourself isn't convenient, maybe put it on your planner for next Monday, put it on a post it note, and leave it somewhere you know you'll look next week, and lean into what works for you. In my group coaching program, one woman band club, every Friday, we set ourselves Monday wisdom. We look at, okay, what does our Monday self need to hear the most? And it is amazing how much more compassion we can have for our future self. So today is for doing something for next week you.

Remember, it doesn't need to be big. It doesn't need to be profound. For example, mine for next week is this. Give yourself a tiny plan for what you're gonna do in the morning so it is less overwhelming. So get thinking. I hope your weekend provides you with an opportunity to rest, catch up with yourself, and a bit of unexpected joy. And I can't wait to see you back here bright and early on Monday morning for the daily pep or in your inbox on Sunday for my letter of rebellion. I'll see you soon.
