1525: Firm instructions for a rainy week
Here in the UK it's been raining for weeks on end, so today's episode is a bossy challenge to add some more light to your life!

Good morning, Daily Peppers, and a very happy Monday to you. So I'm recording this from soggy, damp, wet, drizzly, and grey Bristol, and if you're in the UK Fucking hell, the weather has been just really, really grim lately. It has not stopped raining and it's just been looking quite bleak. So I want to kick off this week with very firm and very bossy instructions to find something that brings you some light, some joy, some sunshine, a bit of delight. Something to make this week a little bit brighter. It could look like treating yourself to something small. It could be returning to a book series that you absolutely love. It could be starting that craft project, or actually going through your Pinterest boards and picking a project and diving in.
Just choose something that will make the days feel a bit less gray. It might also look like using your best stuff. So use the candle that you've been saving, or that spice mix, or that tea blend that you usually save up. Sometimes the things that we save for special occasions need to be used during the rainy days to make the days feel a bit different, maybe to romanticize our lives a little bit., or to simply brighten your day up a bit. So those are my firm instructions for this week. There are definitely sunny days ahead of us. Keep hanging in there. Remember that your best is going to vary from day to day, and that you are worthy of your finest china and your best stuff.
Here's to adding some more joy into our days. Begging for some sun. And also, here's to just remembering that you're doing so much better than you think you are. I'll see you tomorrow.
